Vesta, Inc
Vesta, Inc. is a private, non-profit, CARF Accredited comprehensive behavioral health care organization with seven locations throughout Maryland. Vesta offers comprehensive, flexible, and ongoing services for adults, children and adolescents with a wide range of psychological needs, including serious and persistent mental illness. Services include:
- individual, couple, family, and group therapy,
- medication management,
- day rehabilitation programs,
- residential rehabilitation programs,
- substance abuse counseling, and
- supported housing.
Mr. Vyas and Mrs. Frishberg noticed that there was a great need for psychosocial rehabilitation both nationwide and specifically in the state of Maryland. As a result, they formed Vesta, Inc. and opened Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs in both Suitland, and College Park, Maryland. Vesta has since grown to serve over 1,500 consumers state-wide. Now, 40 years after its inception, Vesta has received county and statewide accolades for excellence in consumer care.
