Vesta, Inc is currently recruiting for the position of Somatic Care Clinic Coordinator for our Severn Region. The Somatic Care Clinic Coordinator will provide coordination of medical appointments for clients and supports medical professionals on-site. The position is responsible for ensuring that client care meets the standards defined by the organization, client documentation and charts are complete and compliant, and information is disseminated to the care team. The position is also responsible for providing support to the region's front desk and administrative duties.
Preferred candidate:
- High School diploma required. Bachelor's Degree in the health and human service field (preferred) or business management, or experience in a comparable role either medical or administrative.
- 3 years' experience in medical office setting with similar duties.
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology, transcription, and insurance.
- Experience with somatic and psychiatric service coordination.
- Must have the ability to work independently and handle high stress situations.
- Prior intermediate or advanced working experience with Microsoft Business Applications (Excel, Teams, SharePoint) is desirable.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinate and schedule client psychiatric and medical appointments and provide needed support to Primary Care Doctor
- Seek and link clients with external resources as needed.
- Provide support and maintain documentation in electronic prescription system.
- Liaison with pharmacy for client prescription refills and correction of errors.
- Coordinates and schedules laboratory appointments ordered by physicians.
- Coordinate and schedule injections for clients per doctor orders.
- Answer all phone calls, responding to callers placed on hold within one minute.
- Monitor the waiting room and alert providers if clients are not seen within a reasonable time frame.
- Triage clients, obtain vitals, relevant information, and complete check-in screenings.
- Organize and deliver medication to appropriate properties/locations.
- Monitor Medication as directed.
- Ensures client profile and records are updated by completing scanning and filing of necessary document.
Position Details:
This position is a Full-Time hourly position. Ideal candidate would be able to work the following schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:00pm.
Ability to pass background check and drug screening required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $23.77/hour - $26.62/hour, paid bi-weekly, with opportunities for overtime. Salary calculated based on education and experience.
Other Compensation: Employees are eligible for bonuses (variable, depending on company and individual performance) and paid training.
PTO: New employees can accrue up to 96 hours of PTO in the first year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked). Employees can accrue up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked).
Holidays: Full-Time employees receive 8 paid holidays per year, with overtime if required to work. Part-Time employees are eligible for overtime if required to work on holidays.
Retirement: 403(b) plan participation available at hire. Employer matching after 1000 hours of service. Discretionary employer contributions are given at least once a year.
