This position reports to

Senior Technical Service Consultant

Your role and responsibilities

*Responsible for due diligence, investigating local requirements and criteria, verifying client-provided information is accurate.
*CAD design/drafting.
*Demonstrate an understanding of EVSE standards.
*Demonstrate an understanding of fundamentals of civil design.
*Demonstrate an understanding of ADA compliance and codes requirements.
*Demonstrate an understanding of water quality and SWPPP plans.
*Proficient in Grading.
*GIS knowledge.
*Ability to support the Project Managers and other team members as necessary to produce the project.
*Under the direction and supervision of other Engineers, be able to prepare EV infrastructure layouts to include consideration of ADA compliance, code requirement, and drainage and Utility plans for land development and infrastructure projects.
*Responsible for plan production and accurate implementation of specific EVSE standards.
*Trains Staff Engineers or other Project Engineers on design software, calculations, and design concepts.
*Assist with applications for all necessary regulatory permits.
*Assist with the preparation of calculations and reports relating to project submittals.
*Help the team manage project schedules to achieve project milestones and deliverable work products.
*Provide assistance with project bidding and construction administration phases.
*Work cooperatively with project teams.
*Ability to independently solve problems.
*Responsible for checking work as well as other engineers' designs and calculations, to ensure alignment to quality assurance and control requirements.
*Actively participates in and contributes to department and project team meetings and discussions.
*Collaborate with the project manager and others to develop and implement design strategies.
*Assist with project management duties, as requested and needed.

Qualifications for the role
  • You have obtained an Engineering degree from an accredited school or university.
  • PE Stamp
  • oPreferrable states license: CA, TX, FL, NV
  • oAdditional states license: PA, KY, OR, WA, VA
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Civil Engineer in the EV/Renewable space.
  • Strong software skills including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Vehicle Tracking, Bluebeam, Excel, and Nearmaps
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screening
