Your Role: As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our production process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Official loading of product to railcars and trucks
- Provide official quality control testing
- Learn start-up and shutdown procedures for equipment
- Collaborating with team members to recommend improvements in efficiency and quality
- Engaging in safety committees and quality improvement initiatives.
- Communicating effectively with coworkers and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensuring a clean and safe production area while performing routine maintenance.
What We're Looking For:
- Availability: Must be able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.
- Attention to Detail: We need individuals who are detail-oriented and capable of making sound decisions.
- Equipment Operation: Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Health & Safety: Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Training: Must be available to start training mid-January or later. The training schedule will run Monday to Thursday, with weekends off to return home.
