What You Will Do
* Assess and troubleshoot operating gaps and opportunities in unit performance to optimize product yields and energy efficiency.
* Provide process technical support alongside the production team to help build capabilities that will both sustain and optimize unit performance.
* Motivate, influence, and drive good business decisions forward while working with a diverse workforce.
* Engage in the site's Process Safety Management execution, including management of change, maintaining up-to-date process safety information, process hazard analysis, mechanical integrity, operating procedures, and incident investigations.
* Partner with the Console Operations team to troubleshoot unit operational issues and opportunities.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
* 5+ years of experience in process and/or chemical engineering
* Experience in Management of Change (MOC)
* Experience in root cause analysis and process hazard analysis
* This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead
* Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
* Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Advanced Process Control
* Experience with anomaly detection software, OSI PI, and SeeQ
* Experience with PRD design and validation
* Experience with ASPEN process modeling simulation/Fathom/Arrow
* Experience in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
