Position Summary:

The Export Supply Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and optimizing the replenishment of products to subsidiaries and export distributors worldwide. This role operates within a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Supply Chain design, covering all activities from needs calculation to final delivery. This includes data processing (forecasts and inventory levels), quotations and order entry, transport booking, customs declarations, invoicing, and logistical complaints management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of 10 replenishment planners and export coordinators. Foster a safe, positive, and dynamic work environment that encourages team members to grow, achieve their potential, and capitalize on synergies between their roles.
  • Continuous Improvement: Leverage continuous improvement methodologies, support functions, team members' skills, cross-functional collaboration, and global best practices to implement best-in-class processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Ensure proactive and effective coordination across all functions involved in replenishing subsidiaries and export distributors, including Category Managers, International Distribution Centers, and International Transport teams.
  • Strategic Alignment: Promote and embody the company's strategic vision, values, and behaviors, including customer orientation, accountability, empowerment, trust, performance focus, and outcome recognition.
  • Communication: Clearly and timely communicate operational performance, action plans, and decisions to both the team and key stakeholders.
  • Operational Decision-Making: Make informed decisions to optimize operational performance in safety, compliance, quality, service, and cost. Identify and implement opportunities for flow optimization in compliance with company procedures and external regulations.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Procurement, or Warehouse with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in a Supply Chain function.
    • Master's Degree preferred.
    • Experience in International Distribution is preferred
  • Strong management and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to create a positive and dynamic work environment in a transformational environment.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural, international, and regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of Finance to include budgeting, cost monitoring, and cost optimization.
  • Experience in Operations Management, with skills in planning and distribution.
  • Customer orientation with a strong sense of service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.
