Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a clinical nurse to join our Pediatric Float Team!

Role Overview:

    The Pediatric Float Pool provides an opportunity for nurses to gain exposure to a broader scope of patient care including those with pediatric diagnosis while working throughout our Pediatric Platform including:
    • Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
    • Pediatric Inpatient Unit
    • Pediatric Ambulatory Care Unit
  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and other medications to pediatric and adult patients
  • Perform patient assessment, offer patient and family education, and symptom management.

Key Qualifications:

  • New York State License, BCLS and PALS required
  • 1.5-2 years of critical care experience preferred
  • 1.5-2 years of related chemotherapy experience preferred
  • Peripheral IV and central line care and access skills preferred
  • Oncology Nursing Society/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card preferred

Please Note: This opportunity is not open to new graduate RNs.

Pay Range $121,300- $154,450.00

Additional Information:

  • Location: MSK Pediatric Day Hospital, 444 E 68th St.
  • Schedule: 3 x 12 hour shifts flexed between 7am-7:30 pm
