Your Opportunity: Label Works is seeking an Equipment Operator in our slitting/cutting & shipping areasto be responsible for operating machines to finish production orders as well as assist in the shipping process. We're looking for someone who is mechanically inclined to operate multiple pieces of equipment during their shift based on product and staffing needs.

Your Shift:

• 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities Include:

• Operate automatic or semiautomatic machines in a continuous production/processing operation including; cutters, slitters, and shrink wrappers.

• Assist in Shipping by pre-boxing, and preparing orders

• Proof read and quality check product

• Clean and maintain work area in compliance with safety regulations.

• Assist in other departmental areas as work load requires.

You Must Have:

• Mechanical and technical skills/aptitude

• Basic math skills to read ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization

• Ability to operate equipment to obtain proficiency as measured through production and quality standards

• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions for work orders

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift

• Ability to lift up to20-40pounds on a consistent basis

We Would Also Prefer:

• Ability to distinguish colors

• Experience in a production related environment

• High school education or equivalent
