As a FinOps Solution Consultant at Flexera, you'll join our dynamic pre-sales organization, collaborating closely with Enterprise & Strategic sales teams. Your primary responsibility will be to identify business value and drive revenue through Flexera's Cloud Cost Optimization and Governance solutions.

You will consult with both new and existing customers, helping to understand their business requirements and leveraging Flexera's solutions to deliver value that aligns with their strategic goals. Additionally, you'll contribute to our Cloud Center of Excellence, bridging internal stakeholder groups and functional areas to continually enhance our solutions in response to evolving customer needs, market trends, and technological advancements.

The Product:

Flexera One offers a comprehensive approach to FinOps, facilitating collaboration between cloud governance teams and business units to optimize cloud spending. This includes identifying savings opportunities, implementing optimizations, and automating processes across the cloud environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Flexera's Cloud Governance solutions, including policies automation, Cloud Automation Templates, and Self Service.
  • Partner with sales representatives, solution engineers, architects, and other team members to drive revenue across Enterprise opportunities.
  • Lead and participate in discovery calls to uncover customer needs and objectives.
  • Deliver compelling customer demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof of concept activities.
  • Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and security questionnaires.
  • Provide valuable field insights to product management and engineering teams.
  • Develop best practices for proof of concept processes, sales to customer success manager handoffs, and customer success roadmaps.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time to engage directly with customers and support sales efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Certified FinOps Practitioner
  • Certification as a Cloud Solution Architect or equivalent; Azure/Google certification is a plus
  • Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs, API tools (e.g., Postman), or scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is a plus
  • Strong experience in Cloud Financial Management (FinOps), with a deep understanding of cloud vendor billing and discount mechanisms
  • Familiarity with cloud vendor native tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer) and third-party solutions (e.g., Cloudability, CloudHealth)
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong dedication to achieving customer success
  • Technical influence and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to customers
