Maintenance Laborer

Cape Fox Lodge is seeking a reliable and hard-working construction/maintenance laborer to join our outstanding maintenance team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction and maintenance tasks ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, including framing, drywall installation, and painting
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and facilities
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials and equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and complete tasks on schedule
• Conduct inspections and identify maintenance needs in and around the lodge
• Assist in site preparation, including digging, grading, and clearing debris
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions
