Responsibilities

The individual selected for this position will conduct Verification and Validation (IV&V) and System level verification activities to ensure products are capable of satisfying mission requirements and performance standards.

Specific tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Identify integration risks and perform IV&V and system integration testing across all phases of ITS implementation, development, and O&M.
  • Assess and validate technical requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, deliver, and execute test plans and procedures that verify and validate incremental capability delivery.
  • Deliver documentation and analysis of test verification results.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
  • Ensure that new software integrations meet functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
  • Track and report on quality metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2.
  • Strong analytical abilities and skills in organizing, planning, communicating, and executing project management tasks.
  • Ability to support multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and follow through.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma.
  • Understanding of API testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
  • Experience with Python and Java.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired:

  • Experience with data validation testing.
  • Understanding the principals of Accessibility Compliance, 508/WCAG.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Playwright, Selenium, PyTest, JUnit).
  • Experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
