Your role and responsibilities
As Facilities Specialist, you will - under general guidance of supervisor or more experienced engineer - oversee construction works for safety and adhesion to plans. Justify small projects and lead to implementation. Work with Supervisor for initial training and Company process then reach out on own. The work model for the role is: ONSITE You will be mainly accountable for: * Perform various facilities maintenance and construction supervision tasks involving such functions as installation and service, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information. * Prepare simple spreadsheets with data for justifying simple projects and completes simple PowerPoint templates. * Consult with other engineering groups to ensure that specified projects meet the needs of the business. * Plan, conduct or coordinate relatively straight-forward construction activities, and engineering analyses and tests, and prepare related reports and summaries, for review. Qualifications for the role
- 2-year degree or technical certificate in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, HVAC, or other similar areas
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in construction, facilities management, or similar areas
- Strong experience in managing small projects, less than $100k USD
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD and/or Revit, preferred
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
