Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are hiring a Manager to join the newly developed Ambulatory Capacity Management (ACM) team. We collaborate with multiple departments to influence, define, and execute key strategic & tactical priorities in the areas of access, templates, EPIC, and ambulatory operations.

The Manager, ACM will develop and manage a team of Coordinators. We are looking for someone skilled in outpatient operations with advanced knowledge of the Epic Cadence application. In partnership with the Senior Manager, they will work with key stakeholders across MSK to create positive working relationships, including the ACM team, Operations Managers, Clinical Departments, Patient Access Services (PAS), Nexus, Practice Plan, and others.

Role Overview:

    Work with clinical and operational leadership in assessing access and establishing recommendations to ensure effective access
  • Guide the implementation of operational and strategic workflows and processes related to access; as well as use and reporting for EPIC
  • Leads direct reports, ACM teammates, and clinical departments in support of key initiatives
  • Design, build & maintain Cadence templates

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in staff management in the outpatient/ambulatory operations setting with a strong understanding of clinic operations & technology
  • Direct experience in customer relations and problem-solving
  • Experience with data collection and analysis, and proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

Core Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in team & operations management, communications, and business planning
  • Strength in managing teams, including the development of team culture, as well as individual professional development
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, customer services, and excellent interpersonal skills required along with experience in working with multi-disciplinary groups

Additional Information:

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm (hybrid schedule)

Location: 1275 York Ave

Pay Range: $98,500 - $157,600

Reporting to the Senior Manager, ACM
