Medical Technologist

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an potential opportunity for a civilian Medical Technologist at Fort Harrison in MT, near Helena

This contract position offers:

Full-time position | 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday schedule

Requirements:

• Certification: All Contractor's Medical Technologist staff shall be Certified by theAmerican Society of Clinical pathology (ASCP), Board of certification or Board of Registry or American Medical Technologist or American Association of Bioanalytic and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Education and experience: All Contractor's Medical Technologist must have a Bachelor of Science degree in medical laboratory science or a related science and at least one year of clinical laboratory experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Contractor's Medical Technologists, medical laboratory technician and Health Technicians/phlebotomists shall be technically proficient inthe skills necessary to fulfill the government's requirements Continuing Medical Education (CME/ Certified Education Unit (CEU)
  Requirements: Contractor shall provide the COR copies of current CMEs as required or requested by the VAMC. Contractor's Medical Technologist registered
  or certified by national/medical associations shall continue to meet the minimum standards for CME to remain current. .
• Training ( BLS, EHR and VA MANDATORY): Contractor shall meet all VA
