The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

As US National Sales Manager for Terraplas you'll be directly responsible for driving sales growth in North America by finding new customers and opportunities.

This position will focus on driving new business development in the Turf Protection Solutions market encompassing B2B, distributor management, third-party sales reps, and the rental business in the US concentrating on North America. This individual will create sustained growth by achieving and surpassing aggressive sales targets, expanding business reach and proactively developing new sales opportunities across North America.

Persistence, knowledge of the product, strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, with a focus on strategic analysis, exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals. In addition, the role requires experience researching market trends, targeting relationships, understanding customer needs and using proven methods to develop our business strategy while retaining the current customer base.

You will be challenged to drive sales growth through our existing distributor network whilst at the same time finding new distributors & 3rd party representatives that are able to develop new opportunities in territories and verticals that have previously not been covered.

What You'll Do at Justrite:



  • Develop and implement a solid US growth strategy , including a focus on strategic analysis, researching market trends, targeting new relationships and preparing quarterly and annual sales forecasts and targets. Provide clear understanding and roadmap of the business development initiatives across all industrial markets and comment on business development activities/pipeline and provide ongoing recommendations. Ownership for US accounts, budgetary planning and implementation.


  • Manage and leverage strong relationships with current clients while also developing and identifying new business opportunities


  • Develop a strong understanding of target markets, industry and companies in which market strategies can be used to attract new clients. This includes researching prospective accounts in targeted markets, actively pursuing leads and following through to a successful meeting and contract.


  • Leverage JSG Distributor relationships, working closely with them to identify new business opportunities and drive additional sales growth.


  • Attend industry functions, association events and conferences to learn feedback on industry developments in turf protection and market trends. Travel as required to project sites, exhibitions, corporate and customer offices to meet with clients during the project life cycle


  • Collaborate with US sub-contractor manufacturing plant when orders are secured to ensure a successful order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
  • Plus: Possess a strong understanding of turf protection products and the competition in the industry


Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:



  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of proven experience selling solution-based sales to B2B, distributor, and rental clients globally
  • 8-10+ years of relevant or similar work experience, preferably gained in a stadium and arena environment with a high level of understanding of turf protection solutions along with a proven track record in US/ Global sales and business development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience in sales


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:



  • Proactive lead generator, a hunter in the field, ambitious and enjoys working to targets
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to close orders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confidence and ability to deal with people at all levels of leadership and a natural networker
  • Prepared to travel across the continent - 50%
  • Plus: An understanding of the stadium/events ground protection market
  • Thrive in a pressurized capital equipment project-based sales environment
  • Strong operational and project management skills


Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to 115,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
