Electrical Technician

Opportunity Overview: Electrical Technician - Contract role - New Stanton, PA

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Test Technician in the Westinghouse New Stanton, PA facility. The position is for a 3-month assignment in New Stanton, PA supporting Westinghouse projects. Contract may extend based on business needs.

What your day-to-day looks like:

• Performing instrumentation testing using digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and customer supplier equipment/simulators.
• Interpret drawings and execute test procedures.
• Operate electronic and electrical test equipment.
• Read and follow drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assemble/testing electronics units, applying knowledge of basic electronic theory and components.
• Learn, understand, and practice the appropriate quality, health, and safety procedures applicable to each work assignment.

What we need to see from you:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology is preferred.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent job experience is required.
• 2+ years of experience is preferred. Recent graduates will also be considered.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Field cable installation work is a plus.
