WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB: The Vice President will be responsible for providing executive oversight for the strategic planning and execution of the overall business systems solutions for Biomedical Services (Biomed). The VP will own the management of the strategic product vision, integration strategy, release planning strategy, software delivery, and provide business application support for all Biomed Services business systems including nationally supported and field applications. Responsible for developing, monitoring and executing a comprehensive Biomedical IT strategic plan in alignment with the business needs and IT policies and procedures. Collaborates cross-functionally with senior and executive leaders in other parts of the organization and lines of services (Finance, Biomedical IT, Info Security, Enterprise Data and Supply Management) in executing and achieving key business goals and strategies that have Biomed implications. Facilitate the design of efficient and effective business system solutions that reflect process integration, consistent end-to-end data management and scalability. About BSI: The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast hours. The American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications): WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (preferred qualifications): * Extensive experience in strategic evaluation and execution of large-scale technology related. * Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted). We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed.
