Our Finance team builds the financial infrastructure to scale our growing company. We combine analytical and strategic thinking to develop a sound financial future. We work closely with teams across the company, as well as with external partners. Our primary stakeholders include Payer, Provider, Life Sciences (LSEPS), Product & Technology, and shared services such as HR, Finance, Legal/Compliance, and overall Executive and Corporate activities.

The Product & Technology Finance team is looking for an inquisitive and results-driven Senior Finance Manager to join our team. Specializing in supporting the Technology organization. As part of this role, you will own the creation and management of the forecast, budget, and strategic plan, produce monthly actual P&Ls and variance analysis, maintain financial models for Capital Expenditures (CAPEX), Operating Expenses (OPEX), Capital Development (Cap Dev), and Allocations. In addition, this role will partner cross-functionally with other Finance teams to manage key line items on the P&L and ensure the consistency and accuracy of our financial projects across materials. Aside from the primary roles and responsibilities (R&R), the role will also be expected to up-level the quality and depth of modeling, reporting, analytics, and dashboards for stakeholder consumption. This suite will include modeling, reporting and analytics around cloud (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks) applications and usage, headcount, productivity/service KPIs, software capitalization, hardware, and vendor agreements. In addition, this role is expected to index heavily on automation, process improvement, and best practices as a first principle to drive a best-in-class Product & Technology Finance function that can scale and meet the needs of a rapidly growing organization. The role will require excellent communications (verbal and written) and quality presentation (decks and docs) skills as the role will be regularly interacting with Executive leaders, including the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Product Officer (CPO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Vertical CFOs, Vice President and Director level leaders. This role will have one direct report.

You Will:



  • Forecasting/Budgeting: Drive the monthly/quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning for the Technology organization. This includes creating and maintaining financial models for OPEX (Headcount and Non-Headcount), CAPEX (Hardware), Software Capitalization, and P&L allocations.
  • Variance Analysis: Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics regularly to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and drive overall business success. Conduct detailed analysis of actual financial results compared to forecasted figures, identifying key drivers of performance and opportunities for improvement. Review analysis with Business Unit leaders on a monthly cadence.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Create reporting, analytics, and dashboards around cloud applications, headcount, productivity KPIs, software capitalization, hardware, product roadmap, etc.
  • Automation: Heavily indexed on automation of workflows, process improvement, and best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Technology, Accounting, and the broader Finance teams to ensure alignment of financial plans and objectives. Foster strong relationships and facilitate effective communication across the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance existing forecasting methodologies, models, and processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. Drive operational excellence in R&Rs that help innovate and optimize existing work-streams.


What you will bring to the table:



  • 8-10+ years of experience in a Product and/or Technology Finance function in a Healthcare Technology or Technology company
  • Expert Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills and ability to transform large data sets
  • Prior experience owning or directly contributing to a P&L with associated forecasts, budgets, and financial models
  • Prior experience in variance analysis and communication (written and verbal) with stakeholders
  • Prior experience in building a reporting, analytics, and/or dashboard suite for stakeholders
  • Prior experience in automation, process improvement, process building, framework creation, etc.
  • Prior experience in Netsuite, Anaplan, Oracle, Cognos, Salesforce, Tableau, or SQL/datawarehouse highly desirable
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or other related quantitative discipline. Knowledge of Financial Statements and Accounting highly desirable
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently to deliver accurate, high-quality outputs with minimal oversight

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $153,000-$175,000.
