Bedford Family Eye Care competitive compensation and benefits packages, including: $100k base salary with 15% bonus of professional fees over $130k IRA matching contribution up to 3% Medical and dental insurance Nominal life insurance plan 15 days of paid time off/vacation VOA/AOA dues covered Malpractice insurance What you'll do: Caring for patients full-time, 40 hours weekly, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and conditions. Supported by a dedicated team of two technicians, two front desk staff, two opticians, one manager, and Dr. Jared Quesenberry, the owner, and fellow Optometrist, you'll collaborate closely to ensure optimal patient outcomes. As you settle into your role, you will initially care for eight patients a day. As your comfort level grows and schedule fills, you will eventually work your way to a full schedule as the needs of the practice allow. A full schedule is typically 18-23 patients a day. The practice is equipped with advanced tools such as an autorefractor, FDT, auto lensometer, iCare tonometer, Humphrey VF, OCT, Fundus camera, pachymeter, digital projector charts, Optomap California, TempSure Envi Radiofrequency device for the treatment of dry eyes-enabling you to deliver cutting-edge care. Who we're seeking: You're an exceptional Optometrist with a personable demeanor, thrives in a team environment, and demonstrates a genuine eagerness to learn and grow. A candidate with expertise in vision therapy or injection/laser certification will be an asset to the team. The ideal candidate will actively support the practice's current goals, which involve meeting the unmet and evolving eye care needs of the community. Additionally, the business envisions expanding the practice into a multi-doctor specialty private practice in the future while maintaining a commitment to providing comprehensive care and accessibility to the community.
