Description

Hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a global electronics manufacturing company in Ronkonkoma, NY. This role is a 6-Month contract, Pay $31 - 34/HR (DOE), and Days Shift. You'll inspect incoming materials and perform quality checks on produced parts. Will record, document and report inspection results and provide corrective actions.

Job Title: Mfg. Quality Control Inspector

Duration: 6-Month contract project

Pay Rate: $30 - 32 - 34/HR (DOE)

Schedule: Mon - Fri / 7am - 3:30pm

Client Location: Ronkonkoma, NY

Work duties in full Details:

  • Perform inspections on products for surface mount and through hole PCBs (manufactured and repaired)
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and data sheets on in-process and end-of-line inspection failures
  • Perform first article inspections on products and provide reports and results
  • Assist in identifying root cause and corrective actions and co-owns the implementation of corrective actions
Job Requirements

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 year as a QC Inspector and Electro-Mechanical assemblies in an electronics mfg setting
  • 'High-Mix/Low-Volume' (HMLN) and Pull-based mfg aka: 'Make to Order' (MTO)
