Madam Restaurant in Birmingham is hiring Barbacks! Immediate openings! Our Barbacks start at $13.50 per hour & we offer paid time off for both full and part time associates! WHAT YOU WILL DO Assist bartenders with the function and efficiency of the restaurant, banquet and club bar areas Ensure proper inventory of liquors, glassware, napkins, straws and garnishes Remove trash and keep bar areas unobstructed, clean and organized Keep track of inventory and inform Management of supply needs Clean glassware to ensure continuous, uninterrupted service Be familiar with the beverage list, including glassware used Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages Complete closing shut down and cleaning of bar area WHAT YOU WILL NEED Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language Must have a high school education or equivalent experience Must have TN ABC License and/or must acquire within 60 days of hire date Minimum of 2 years of food and beverage experience Able to work well unsupervised Able to work alone without direct supervision Demonstrate high degree of drive and determination
