Overview

As a Competitive Intelligence Analyst, you will have the opportunity to monitor, analyze, and report on industry, market, and external company developments and trends! Your work will support strategic initiatives, helping to drive business and product development efforts.

Responsibilities



  • Identify, evaluate, and uncover trends, emerging threats, and new business opportunities
  • Establish strong, effective relationships with critical business functions (such as Product Marketing, Business Development, regional business leaders, and strategy peers)
  • Support teams throughout the company by developing and communicating insightful and actionable intelligence for strategic decision-making to support strategy formulation, business and marketing plans, new product development, and business development initiatives
  • Provide insights in a variety of formats, including reports, emails, executive summaries, briefing documents, and presentations
  • Become one of our internal go-to industry, technology, or product experts


Requirements



  • 2+ years of professional GIS experience using Esri software
  • 1+ years of experience conducting market, competitor, or customer research
  • Knowledge of SWOT analysis
  • Capable of working independently and with a team, possessing a unique blend of technical, business, and strategic thinking skills
  • Exhibit the ability to quickly absorb and develop domain knowledge in specific technologies (such as geospatial, as-a-service, cloud, autonomous vehicles, imagery, 3D, and data science) and industries (such as utilities, commercial, AEC, natural resources, government, smart cities, and public safety)
  • Strong analytical skills and visual presentation capabilities with an understanding of how to interpret data/information
  • Bachelor's in business, GIS, computer science, or technology

  • 1+years of experience with B2B competitive analysis experience
  • Knowledge of geospatial technology
