Ultrasound Technologist II - Diagnostic Imaging - Per Diem

Position Highlights:

• Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem

• Hours: 10 hour shifts as needed on weekdays and weekends from 11:30AM to 10:00PM

• Weekends: Every other weekend from 11:30AM to 10:00PM

• Floating Locations: Plainfield and Bolingbrook site

• Holidays: 1-2 shifts per year

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Certified or proof of eligibility for certification (i.e., letter of eligibility issued by accredited school) by ARRT (S)(American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Sonography) or ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography)

• Must be certified and currently registered as RDMS (OB or AB), RT(S), RT (VS), RVT, or RVS within twenty-four months of eligibility or 6 months of start date into position.

• Current CPR (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher

• Vascular experience

• Breast experience

• General Abdomen experience

• OB/GYN experience

• MSK experience

• Pediatric experience

What you will do:

Under general supervision, using ultrasound equipment produces two-dimensional ultrasound images of internal organs for use by Radiologists in the diagnosis of disease and the study of malfunction of organs. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
