Essential Job Duties |
The Department of Economics at NC State University is currently accepting applications for the position of
Lecturer, Non-Tenure Track Faculty (part-time). These positions are for one semester or one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Successful candidates will teach 1-3 undergraduate or graduate courses, depending on the department's needs. Teaching will be focused in one or more of the following areas: Microeconomics, macroeconomics, labor economics, and/or law and economics. Courses will be taught on the main campus in Raleigh.
Specific hiring needs for the upcoming academic year are still to be determined. Applications will be kept on file for one year in case of future openings. |

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Requires master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Requires a doctoral degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in the appropriate field of interest for teaching graduate courses.

- Excellent teaching ability.
- A commitment to the success of students and programs at the University.
