SUMMARY

Certified Cardiac Device Specialist provides regular professional care to patients undergoing assessment of cardiovascular implantable electronic devices (CIED) in both outpatient and inpatient environments. This includes safe and thorough evaluation, testing, and interpretation of patients with Pacemakers, ICDs, and loop recorders in-clinic and remote follow ups.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• Two or more years job related experience including direct experience with cardiac devices and or electrophysiology.
• Two years of experience will be required for applicants with an associate degree.
• Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) certification by International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) preferred upon hire but must be attained within 1 year of employment.
• (BLS) Basic Life Support
• (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Preferred)
