Description

This is a full time position (40 hours a week).

Candidates can choose from:

Five 8's: 11p-730a, M-F, every other weekend, 2 holidays a year (rotating)

OR

Four 10's: 9pm-730a (4 10's), rotating M-F, every other weekend, 2 holidays a year (rotating)

Radiology candidates who accept a part-time or full-time position with University Hospitals are eligible for:



  • Competitive hourly rate

What you will do:



  • Demonstrates successful technical and patient skills by implementing new and existing protocols and standards into the area of Computer Tomography.
  • Demonstrates strong administrative skills by contributing to the successful operation of the department.
  • Collaborates effectively with co-workers in a timely manner while displaying a positive attitude.
  • Initiates and maintains a positive level of communication with patients and customers.
  • Technologist has successfully passed the CT registry and is currently certified in the area of Computer Tomography.
  • Take responsibility for self-development/displays commitment to the mission, vision and values of the organization and supports a learning environment.
  • Adheres to hospital CT safety standards.
  • Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
  • Provides mentorship to and/or precept Jr staff and students.
  • Participates in committees and/or projects as needed.
  • Participate in regulatory activities as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
