Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Associate Director of Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health with outstanding clinical leadership skills. Under the direction of the Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health, the successful candidate will assist in overseeing all clinical and administrative activities within the Adult Outpatient services including the delivery of high quality and efficient patient care. The candidate should be a board-certified psychiatrist who is interested in growing in leadership. Responsibilities Include: * Assist the Director of Adult Outpatient in managing and directing all operations within the Adult Outpatient behavioral health service, * Help implement and operationalize plans and initiatives aligning with the department's strategic plan to support all service needs, * Supervise a multidisciplinary team including attending psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, creative arts therapists, social work, and nursing; to work towards providing quality care to our patients and their families * Be responsible for the quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfactions goals and objectives set forth by the hospital. * In collaboration with the Director of OPD, review/revise guidelines for standards of care ensuring Adult Outpatient meets all OMH regulatory requirements.
