Position Description
Plans and performs a variety of complex engineering assignments to promote the safe and compliant use of products; ensures compliance with government standards and adoption of industry standards. Leads product safety reviews, tests and assessments for compliance with Federal, State and International standards, product compliance, emission regulations and/or product safety best practices,. Evaluates progress and results of projects and routinely communicates key regulatory issues. Acts as the primary Company representative for product specific compliance responsibility on external standard/regulatory setting panels for assigned area of responsibility. Leads field incidents and accident investigations. Recommends and directs changes in design, procedures or objectives as necessary. Job Responsibilities

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent education and experience Experience Requirements
