Partner with the best

As an Area Manager for Downstream Chemicals, you will be responsible for managing chemical applications and technical support needs for customer accounts in the West Texas and New Mexico Region.

As a West Texas/New Mexico Area Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Building long-term strategic relationships by providing account management to customers while understanding their business requirements and originating sales opportunities
  • Identifying, coordinating, and collaborating with team members to drive projects, technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to our customers
  • Developing, delivering, and leading business reviews and technical presentations to customers, executive leadership, and teams
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of existing refinery chemical process business for customer accounts, technicians and account representatives
  • Demonstrating good communication with interpersonal skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with teams and customers
  • Following Sales and Service Standards at key customer accounts to ensure compliance * Directly manage a team of employees

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business or other relevant field
  • Possess at least 5 years of refinery chemicals experience
  • Demonstrate good communication and presentation with interpersonal skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with teams and customers.
  • Have demonstrated aptitude for building trusted relationships and show an understanding of customer requirements and market conditions.
  • Be experienced in using Microsoft office applications
