Curriculum Design Undergraduate SME - Business Analytics/Data Science or Business Statistics

Herzing University's Online Division seeks highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Developers (Subject Matter Experts) to join our team as a Temporary Contractor. This position will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining exceptional undergraduate-level business curriculum for our online programs.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Curriculum Expertise:


    • Develop and revise online undergraduate-level business courses, ensuring alignment with program objectives and industry standards.
    • Conduct research and stay current on industry trends and best practices.
    • Identify and integrate innovative teaching methodologies and learning technologies.
    • Collaborate with faculty and instructional designers to create engaging and effective learning materials.


  • Subject Matter Mastery:


    • Possess a master's degree in a relevant business field, such as Business Data Analytics, Law, Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Change Management, Technology Management, Risk Management, Project Management, Organizational Leadership or International Business for undergraduate course development.
    • Demonstrate significant industry experience (5+ years) in your area of expertise.
    • Possess relevant industry certifications, such as PMP, SHRM, or specific marketing certifications, depending on the area of focus.


  • Communication and Collaboration:


    • Clearly communicate complex business concepts to a diverse online audience.
    • Collaborate effectively with faculty, instructional designers, and other stakeholders.
    • Provide constructive feedback to improve learning materials and student outcomes.


  • Technology and Digital Literacy:


    • Proficient in online learning platforms and various digital tools used in curriculum development.
    • Ability to leverage technology to enhance the learning experience and create engaging learning environments.


  • Adaptability and Continuous Improvement:


    • Remain adaptable to evolving industry trends and educational technologies.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve curriculum materials based on student feedback and data analysis.



Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in a relevant business field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in a related field.
  • Experience developing online or blended learning materials (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to student success and academic excellence.
  • Proficiency in online learning platforms and digital tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
