Licensed Practical Nurse - Primary Care

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a Full-Time LPN-Immunization Nurse at Ft Belvoir's Health Center in Dumfries, Virginia.

Position Highlights:

Monday-Friday: 11:30AM-8PM
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Outpatient environment where the focus is on patient care
• Employee status with a full complement of benefits

Responsibilities:

• Help run the immunization clinic that is attached to the family practice clinic
• Obtain patient history and pertinent family history and provide education regarding prescribed immunizations
• Prepare patients for immunizations
• Recognize emergency situations and initiate appropriate resuscitative measures

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen
• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical / Vocational Nursing Program
• Active state LPN/LVN license
• At least 2 years of recent clinical experience
• Current BLS certification
