POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the servicing of skis, snowboards, and boots. Technicians will be tuning, mounting, and repairing skis/snowboards, as well as providing excellent customer service to all guests. This position will be expected to assist on the sales floor with sales of both hard and soft goods as needed. This is a seasonal position with both part-time and full-time position available. This position is paid at $20.00/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Service skis and snowboards; including tuning, mounting and repairs
  • Assist customers in finding the right product, both hard and soft goods
  • Maintain cleanliness of store and workspaces
  • Participate in promotional activities
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Assist with boot fitting and provide guidance towards sales of boots
  • Operate Point of Sale system and follow all cash handling procedures
  • Additional duties as assigned


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: Highschool Diploma or equivalent

Experience:
  • Previous retail, or customer service experience preferred
  • Outdoor sporting knowledge a plus


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be a team player
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Customer service oriented


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
