Your Day-to-Day:

* As an entry level engineer, you will perform and support state-of-the-art calculations and validation experiments as required under the mentorship of your manager or more senior engineers with a focus on maintaining and improving safety within the nuclear industry. Other duties and responsibilities listed below and may be assigned on an as-needed basis by your manager.

* Perform engineering calculations related to nuclear safety, fluid flow, probability risk assessment, severe accident analysis, equipment qualification, heat and mass transfer, and other duties as assigned by manager

* Prepare appropriate documentation supporting evaluations and analyses

* Verify routine design evaluations and analyses performed by others, as qualified.

* Interface on a limited basis with customers, vendors, and other internal functional groups on engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments

* Develop skills necessary to assume more independent assignments and support the business strategic initiatives

* Identify and recommend improvements in processes on continuing basis and assist in implementation as well as identify and assist in the development of new business opportunities.

* Plan and schedule own work to meet assignment requirements within schedule and budgetary requirements

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, Physics)

* Prior Nuclear Industry experience preferred.

* Prior Westinghouse Internship experience preferred.

* 0 - 2 year of experiece. New Grads encouraged to apply.

* Coding in one or more of the following: MathCAD, C++, Fortran, Visual Basic, dispersion modelling, severe accident modeling and analysis, thermal-hydraulics modeling and analysis (i.e., RELAP, MAAP, MELCOR), facility hazard modeling and analysis, equipment qualification, and/or laboratory experience with custom experiments
