SUMMARY:

NoTrax, a Justrite Safety Group company is looking for a WALL Operator (1st shift) for their Moselle, MS operations. You will work M-F (6:00AM-2:30PM).

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Follows production schedule to produce required products.
  • Exercises judgment and makes decisions related to set ups, operations, and processes, including minor modifications to pre-programmed computer routines within the limits of standard operating practices.
  • Loads raw materials into position (i.e. tile, adhesive, foam).
  • Continuously monitors the process to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Completes daily production and other reports as required.
  • Unloads material from line and properly packages according to product type.
  • Places appropriate labels and/or inspection stamp on labels.
  • Produces splice matting and atypical custom mats as required.
  • Maintains department in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
  • Observes all safety and environmental procedures.
  • Performs other duties as requested by supervision.


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision, given proper instructions.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to use a utility knife, WALL, tape measure


Physical Demands

Rarely carrying, pulling with one hand, sitting, reclining, twisting, climbing, balancing, crawling, reaching below waist, or reaching above shoulders. Rarely squatting, kneeling, crouching, pushing, or pulling with two hands, or reaching horizontally. Rarely lifting up to 70 pounds. Frequently walking or standing.

Working Conditions

Rarely deals with the outside, low humidity, wetness, slippery surfaces, vibration, confined spaces, high elevation, noise, odors, and electrical hazards. Occasionally deals with high temperature, high humidity, and low temperature. Frequently deals with the inside and moving objects.
