Advanced training, expertise, or willingness to manage pediatric patients is required. The individual will join the Glaucoma Ophthalmology Division and be responsible primarily for patient care, including pediatric patients, at the Wayne and Gladys Valley Center for Vision and the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. The Ophthalmologist will serve as a clinician educator for residents and fellows with an emphasis on glaucoma, cataract and anterior segment medical and surgical instruction. Requirements: Candidates must have a record of excellence in clinical care and teaching. Knowledge and proficiency in glaucoma, cataract and anterior segment surgical instruction are essential. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The total negotiated salary for this position will include another component at the time of hire.
