Lecturers hired in this search may receive contracts with the possibility of renewal up to six years; at the sixth year, a lecturer may be considered for a continuing appointment, which is an ongoing contract with merit reviews every three years. Appointments include full benefits. Positions are pending funding approval.

Courses are taught in-person on campus. Therefore, applicants must be able to teach in-person, with no additional reimbursement. Lecturer appointments will range from one-quarter to one-year time, with the possibility of reappointment, depending upon performance and Program needs. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to the University of California policy and any appropriate collective bargaining agreement.

The position will remain open until March 31, 2025 or until the Program needs are fulfilled, whichever comes first. If you would like to continue to be considered after that time, and the position is advertised again, you will need to submit a new application to the new recruitment.

Please note: The use of a lecturer pool does not guarantee that an open position exists at the time you are applying. See the review date specified in UC Recruit to learn whether the department is currently reviewing applications for an upcoming opening.
