Youth and Adolescent Co-Occurring Clinician (Full Time)

Rate of pay $70,000-$75,000 yearly

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated co-occurring clinical coordinator. This individual will be working closely with youth ages 12-25 and their families and will be coordinating with community partners to increase access to services available for adolescents. The goal of this program is to screen, assess, and coordinate care for youth at risk for substance use disorders and who are currently experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions.

Job Duties:


  • Actively engage clients and family members in the therapeutic process utilizing a variety of strategies at the youth center and in community settings.
  • Provide individual counseling utilizing a variety of interventions e.g. motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and stages of change to address youth and family needs.
  • Assist in the development of therapeutic groups for youth and family members that promote health and wellness including mental health, self-esteem building, co-occurring conditions, and substance use.
  • Participate in marketing and promotional events to promote the program, increase enrollment, and provide education related to substance use and recovery.
  • Provide training to staff as needed around therapeutic interventions and trauma informed care.
  • Provide care coordination between providers in various settings to improve youth and family participation and engagement.
  • Assess clients on an ongoing basis, provide support services and crisis intervention as needed.

  • Demonstrates strong writing, communication, computer and documentation skills.
  • Possesses the ability to multitask, are organized, and have excellent time management skills.
  • Can transport clients in their vehicles for things such as community appointments and events.

Position Requirements:


  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or in a human services field.
  • Drivers license required.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
  • Prior experience working with children and families preferred.
