Assisted Living Manager (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Assisted Living Manager (RN) to lead the assisted living team. This is a true clinical leadership role. You'll guide care staff, oversee daily operations, maintain regulatory compliance, and set the standard for compassionate, resident-centered care.

• Conduct resident assessments using the community's electronic resident care system
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies until additional medical assistance arrives
• Maintain resident confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
• Ensure adherence to state, federal, and organizational policies and standards
• Identify opportunities to improve quality of care and operational efficiency
• Supervise Lead Resident Assistants, Resident Assistants, Medication Technicians, Shift Supervisors, and other care staff
• Interview, hire, onboard, train, and retain high-performing staff
• Coach, mentor, and recognize team members, and support their professional development
• Manage performance, including evaluations and counseling, and support succession planning
• Lead daily stand-up meetings and participate in regular staff meetings
• Develop and maintain daily staffing schedules and assignments to ensure appropriate coverage
• Monitor schedules, timecards, payroll documentation, overtime, and labor utilization
• Communicate schedule changes promptly to leadership and staff
• Resolve staffing and operational challenges with sound judgment, balancing the needs of residents and employees
• Promote open communication and collaboration across departments
• Support occupancy and community initiatives as needed
• Coordinate departmental scheduling across teams
• Participate in on-call scheduling support, including after-hours communication
• Ensure attendance, accountability, and compliance with organizational policies
