Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist Location: Augusta, GA Schedule/Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Pay: $1,758 - $1,923 per week Contract Duration: 13 weeks Position Overview The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT imaging procedures to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver quality patient care in a hospital setting. The technologist will operate Client imaging equipment, maintain accurate documentation, and follow established imaging protocols and safety standards. Job Responsibilities Perform diagnostic CT scans according to physician orders and established imaging protocols. Operate Client CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety. Verify patient information, imaging orders, and appropriate examination protocols. Administer contrast materials as appropriate and within scope of practice. Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond to any changes in condition. Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation using Meditech. Follow radiation safety guidelines, infection prevention procedures, and hospital policies. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Job Requirements Demonstrated experience performing CT imaging procedures in a clinical or hospital setting. Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, equipment operation, and patient positioning. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Ability to operate Client CT imaging equipment. Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and imaging quality standards. Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
