Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Demonstrated professional experience in enterprise network engineering within data-center environments, with the ability to independently implement, troubleshoot, and support complex network infrastructure.
- Strong Layer 2 and Layer 3 fundamentals, including VLANs, VRFs, MLAG, BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, and high availability.
- Hands-on experience with Arista EOS and CloudVision.
- Working knowledge of leaf-spine architecture, VXLAN, and EVPN.
- Experience supporting migrations from Cisco ACI to Arista.
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
- Familiarity with F5 BIG-IP, Imperva WAF, Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and FireMon.
- Ability to create and execute implementation, validation, maintenance, and rollback plans.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using packet captures, logs, telemetry, routing tables, and monitoring tools.
- Basic automation skills using Python, Ansible, Git, REST APIs, Terraform, or Arista Validated Designs.
- Experience with ServiceNow change management and cross-team production migrations.
- Flexibility to support planned after-hours maintenance and emergency changes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- The Network Engineer 3 will support the implementation, migration, and operation of enterprise data-center and network-security infrastructure, with a primary focus on Arista switching and Cisco ACI-to-Arista migration.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Arista switching using EOS and CloudVision.
- Support Cisco ACI-to-Arista migrations and related implementation activities.
- Implement routing, switching, segmentation, and high-availability changes.
- Coordinate integrations and dependencies across Palo Alto/Panorama, F5 BIG-IP, Imperva WAF, Infoblox, and FireMon.
- Prepare and execute implementation plans, validation steps, maintenance procedures, and rollback plans.
- Troubleshoot issues using packet captures, logs, telemetry, routing tables, and monitoring platforms.
- Automate repeatable activities using Python, Ansible, Git, REST APIs, Terraform, or Arista Validated Designs.
- Manage changes through ServiceNow and coordinate production migrations with application, server, security, and infrastructure teams.
- Support planned after-hours maintenance and emergency changes when required.
Salary Range-$105,000-$125,000 a year
