Responsible for scheduling all aspects of patient care, including registration, referrals, procedures, surgeries etc. Responsible for multiple facets of patient financial account services that include patient benefit assessment, insurance verification, pre-certification, pre-authorizations, pre-determination for services, and referral management. Assures that patient information and appropriate documentation is documented and uploaded to EPIC. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details: Position Description: Patient Service Specialist Location: On-Site Type: Full -Time - 40 hours Schedule: Days (Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm) Mercy Hospital St. Louis 615 S New Ballas Rd Saint Louis, MO 63141 Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
