Looking for Local CDL A Driver jobs in Ashland where every mile matters? This opportunity puts your driving skills to work transporting goods safely, efficiently, and on schedule while supporting the businesses and customers that keep the economy moving. CDL-A: Your Class A license opens the door - we make it worth walking through. What You'll Do Operate a Class A CDL automatic truck on a local, home-daily route. Transport building materials using a dry van trailer. Complete scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently while following all DOT regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation. Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers. Handle no-touch freight with no loading or unloading responsibilities. Experience Requirements Minimum 1 year of CDL-A driving experience within the last 3 years. Experience operating dry van equipment preferred. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain a dependable attendance record. Must be at least 22 years old. Driving Requirements Valid Class A CDL required. Current DOT Medical Card. FMCSA Clearinghouse registration completed. Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). No more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the last 3 years. No DUI, reckless driving, or other serious driving violations within the last 5 years. Ability to safely operate an automatic transmission truck and dry van trailer.
