Job Duties

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and manufacturing areas.
• Perform thorough cleaning throughout the facility, including ceilings, walls, floors, and equipment.
• Operate industrial power washers and use approved cleaning chemicals to maintain sanitation standards.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety procedures, and established sanitation schedules.
• Maintain accurate sanitation records, cleaning logs, and required documentation.
• Assist with cleaning non-production areas, including offices, hallways, locker rooms, and break rooms.
• Remove trash, vacuum carpets, and maintain general facility cleanliness.
• Assist with outdoor grounds cleanup and walkway maintenance as needed.
• Learn to safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts as required.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

• Previous industrial sanitation, janitorial, or manufacturing cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Experience using industrial power washers and cleaning chemicals is a plus.
• Willingness to learn forklift and scissor lift operation.
• Ability to work around industrial machinery and cleaning chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work the scheduled night shift.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding cleaning tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning commercial, industrial, office, healthcare, educational, or manufacturing facilities is preferred.
• Experience operating floor care equipment, buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and pride in their work are well positioned for success as a Sanitation Technician.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.
• Candidates must be comfortable working in a manufacturing facility that may involve
• High temperatures, hot surfaces, and elevated work areas.
• Loud noise, moving machinery, and vibration.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, airborne particles, and food allergens.
• Physically demanding cleaning duties throughout the facility.
