Position Title: Material Handler Wage: $17.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! Material Handler Responsibilities: - Pick orders to ready for shipping - Using forklift to load trucks and move product - Take care of order transfers - Inventory the shipments - Stacking orders together to be wrapped - Operating the wrapper - Print labels - Print shipping tickets - Double check part numbers and quantities - Read PRD Posting orders - Taking weights - Skid breakdown - Stage orders in order of ship out - Check in and direct drivers - Email and call customers to coordinate dates - Schedule trucks - Maintain a clean and safe work environment with good housekeeping - Flex in other areas of the production floor Requirements for Material Handler: - Forklift and pallet jack - Computer literate - Read/Write in English - Organization skills Interpersonal skills - High school diploma preferred but not required - Previous shipping/receiving/material handler experience required - Math skills Detail oriented - Sit/Stand 8+ hours a day - Able to lift up to 50 LBS occasionally - Able to lift up to 20 LBS frequently - Push, pull, bend, twist, kneel IND043 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
