Position Title: Mill Operator
Wage: $21.00 + per hour Shift: 3rd Hours: 11:00pm-7:30am (Mon-Fri) Ready to build your skills in a hands-on manufacturing role? We're hiring dependable Mill Operators to help manufacture high-quality printing ink! This is a great opportunity for candidates with manufacturing or production experience who enjoy working with equipment, following formulas, and being part of a team. Previous forklift experience is preferred, but candidates willing to learn will be considered. Training is provided, but candidates must be available to train on 1st shift before moving to a consistent 3rd-shift schedule. Mill Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate mill and mixing equipment to manufacture ink batches according to specifications. - Weigh and mix ingredients, following formulas and production procedures. - Package, label, and prepare finished products. - Operate forklifts, pumps, filters, and other production equipment. - Collect ink samples, make adjustments as needed, and record quality data. - Clean and maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance. - Assist with product repacks and other production duties. - Follow all safety procedures and standard operating procedures. Mill Operator Requirements: - At least 3 months of related work experience. - Basic math and computer skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. - Reliable attendance and punctuality. - Ability to work overtime as needed. - Ability to work well with a team and troubleshoot equipment issues. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. - Forklift experience is preferred, but candidates without experience must be willing to learn. - Must be available for 1st-shift training before transitioning to 3rd shift.
