Position Title: Material Handler
Wage: $19.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Material Handler position available at a company in Campbellsport, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Unload inbound shipments and transport products to designated storage locations. - Load outbound shipments and stage materials for delivery and shipment. - Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently. - Move, stack, stage, and organize products throughout the warehouse. - Operate propane-powered forklifts and other powered material handling equipment. - Utilize manual pallet jacks as needed. - Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy. - Perform order picking activities using RF scanners and inventory tracking systems. - Use scan guns for receiving, put-away, inventory movement, and shipping functions. - Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and inspect products for damage. - Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or quality concerns. - Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. - Follow proper stock rotation procedures. - Maintain equipment, work areas, and warehouse locations in a clean and organized condition. - Support warehouse security and safe operating practices. - Follow OSHA, AIB, and company safety regulations. - Promote safe operation of forklifts and warehouse equipment at all times. Material Handler Requirements: - High school diploma or GED required. - 1-2 years of forklift operating experience required. - Ability to safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts. - Experience using RF scan guns and warehouse management systems. - Basic computer skills. - Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy. - Ability to make decisions and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Previous corrugated manufacturing experience preferred. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment. - Ability to frequently get on and off forklifts throughout the shift. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Ability to work in cold warehouse environments. - Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety. - Will operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
