Systems & Service TechnicianThermach, LLC | Appleton, WI$75,000-$85,000/year | Full-Time | 20-30% TravelThermach, LLC is a growing manufacturer of advanced thermal spray equipment. We are seeking an experienced Systems & Service Technician to build, test, commission, install, and service complex custom equipment.This is a hands-on position with a great variety of work. You will assemble and integrate equipment at our Appleton facility, test and calibrate new and used systems, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and travel to customer locations for installation and commissioning. When not traveling, you will provide technical support and assist with equipment testing, repairs, and new product development.What You'll Do
  • Assemble complex mechanical and electrical systems using drawings, schematics, and BOMs
  • Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair new and used equipment
  • Install, start up, and commission systems at customer locations
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support and customer training
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, controls, and instrumentation issues
  • Work with Engineering on new products and system improvements
  • Support PLC/HMI programming and FANUC robot setup as needed
  • Document service work, testing, and corrective actions
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience with complex industrial equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Experience with industrial wiring, sensors, motors, valves, controls, and instrumentation
  • PLC/HMI experience preferred
  • FANUC robot experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and directly with customers
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20-30%
Education: Associate degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
