What you will enjoy doing*
- You will lead safe plant operations by maintaining Zero/Zero safety performance, communicating safety expectations, ensuring required safety training is completed, and overseeing HWP, LOTO, and CSE programs
- Ensure compliance with governmental and Linde policies, including QA, Reliability, Operations, and SH&E programs, while managing MOC, EAM, ACMS, ProCal, required variances, and the timely closure of audit items
- Support regulatory and customer audits with a focus on achieving zero violations or required actions
- Manage equipment failures, production upsets, quality and delivery issues through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and timely escalation when needed
- Further, you will ensure timely completion of PMs, PdMs, and CMs and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and achieve facility reliability and energy contract targets
- Develop and manage annual plant budgets while driving Operational Excellence, productivity projects, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives
- Manage personnel scheduling and overtime, set team goals and expectations, and provide coaching and feedback to support employee performance and development
- And you will develop training plans for new operations employees and support continued learning and technical development for current personnel
- Serve as the primary management team member on call for QA, process, operational, safety, and environmental issues during nights and weekends as needed
- Monitor and control production to meet quality and output objectives, address operational efficiency concerns, adjust controls as conditions change, and anticipate potential issues
- You will also participate in daily integration meetings and job planning and serve as the primary operations contact for special projects and requests
- Communicate Operations Alerts and changes to policies, procedures, QA requirements, and MOCs to impacted personnel, ensuring they are implemented and documented in a timely manner
What makes you great
- You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred
- At least four (4+) years of operations experience, including two (2+) years of management experience
- You have thorough knowledge and understanding of operational processes, hazards, and equipment
- Knowledge of company and site systems, policies, and procedures
- Able to develop knowledge of Linde, OSHA, PSM, CGMP/FDA, ISO, and EPA standards
- Strong written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, and computer skills
- Demonstrated the ability to lead and guide teams in achieving results
