This position serves as an Athletic Trainer to assigned team.

Responsibilities include: care of student-athletes, to include prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of the injured student-athletes under the supervision of the Medical Director; assisting with preparation of budget requests and managing inventory of supplies for athletic training facility operations; interfacing with coaches regarding injured student-athletes; following the NATA Code of Ethics; remaining current on all state and national requirements for license renewal; agreeing to comply with all University, ACC, and NCAA bylaws and legislation; supervises student workers and Graduate Assistants; assisting in the daily operation of the athletic training facility; ensuring proper use of equipment and facilities by student-athletes; working with Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine and the Medical Director in providing proper evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of injured student-athletes; maintaining medical records on student-athletes to include physical examinations, insurance information and injury evaluation reports; attending scheduled team practices and events, including traveling with teams, as assigned; providing emergency care when indicated; assisting with maintenance of athletic training facility equipment; and assisting with annual physical examinations and drug testing program.
This position will serve as an Athletic Trainer in the Department of Athletics for assigned sport(s). The Athletic Trainer is responsible for performing duties associated with the care of student-athletes, per the five major professional practice domains, under the supervision of the Team Physician.
