Overview
TheDirector of Windows Monetization Strategy leads the team responsible for shaping how Microsoft creates value from Windows, one of the world's most iconic and widely used technology platforms. This role sits at the center of a multi-billion dollarbusiness spanning Commercial, Consumer,Original Equipment Manufacturer(OEM), and Internet of Things (IoT) segments, with responsibility for defining the monetization strategy and business models that will power Windows' next phase of growth. As a key strategic leader, you will help answer some of the company's most important questions: How should Windows evolve in the age of AI? Where are the next growth opportunities? How should we package, price, and monetize new capabilities to create value for customers and Microsoft? You will bring together customer insights, market trends, product strategy, and financial analysis to influence decisions at the highest levels of the company. This role calls for both strategic vision and exceptional leadership. You will lead a high-performing team while partnering closely with Engineering, Product Marketing, Finance, Sales, Operations, and Legal leaders across Microsoft to turn ideas into business outcomes. Business Planning M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
